Setup

The first setup downloads about 3.1 GB of local AI files. Have about 4.5 GB free before you start: the extra is temporary working room that is released once setup finishes. Use Wi-Fi. The app checks your free space and your connection before it downloads anything, and tells you if there is not enough room. If setup fails, retry from the app setup screen or Settings; it resumes where it stopped rather than starting over.

Device Requirements

English Voice Coach is being validated for Android phones that can run large local AI files. Free storage is the one firm requirement: about 4.5 GB before first setup. Android 7.0 or newer and a 64-bit phone are required, 6 GB of RAM or more is recommended, and final minimum and recommended RAM guidance will be published after the release device matrix is complete. Until then, use a modern Android phone and Wi-Fi for first setup.

Permissions

Microphone is used for voice practice. Camera and photo access are used only when you choose to practice text from an image. If you deny a permission, manual text practice should still remain available.

Report Generated Feedback

Use Report feedback on a correction screen if generated feedback is offensive, unsafe, includes private information, or is clearly wrong. Reports may include the sentence, correction, explanation, selected reason, optional note, input source, topic label, and model information so the developer can review the issue. The report path is not designed to send your audio recording or source photo.

In the production build, you review the report inside the app and explicitly tap Send. The app delivers it over HTTPS without opening another app. Reports do not include your email address. Feedback reports received by support are normally deleted within 90 days. To request earlier deletion, email support@barbutsa.com and provide the report ID shown by the app.

Beta Testing

If you are invited to a Google Play closed test, use the opt-in link from the developer, install the app from Google Play, complete setup on Wi-Fi, and send feedback to the support email above. Do not include private practice sentences in email unless you intentionally want the developer to review them.

Remove Local Data

Use Settings to remove downloaded local AI files, generated speech files, topics, practice history, settings, and active selections. AI setup will run again after local data is removed.
